Cameron Salehi Kelly '04
Cameron Salehi Kelly was born in Midland, Texas in 1985, to DeeAnn and Jeff Salehi.
She began attending Trinity School in 1988 for K3 and graduated in 2004. While at Trinity, she was involved in the arts, spending a number of years in band, choir, photography and art history, as well as hosting Coffeehouse throughout high school. She played on the golf and tennis teams at a state level, served on the student government and competed academically in TAPPS competitions.
After graduating from Southern Methodist University in 2008, she went on to work for the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. There, she helped lead and coordinate expeditions worldwide with National Geographic during the year and taught in the summer months in Santa Fe. She specialized in larger summits for professional clients like Hewlett Packard and Adobe.
Upon Cameron’s return to Dallas, she opened her own photography gallery. She remained on call for the workshops and National Geographic and was given the opportunity to help develop a new program in Cuba. Working closely with the Cuban government and American agencies, Cameron was able to travel and initiate a cultural exchange that has been overwhelmingly successful.
Cameron moved back to Midland in 2011 to be closer to her small family and group of friends. Having helped raise nearly 30 million dollars throughout the Midland community, Cameron decided it was time to combine her passions. In September of 2015 she traveled to New York City and attended the premiere floral school, Flower School of New York. There, she was taught by world renowned floral designers, who helped refine her technique and style. Bringing home her new concept she started CSKblooms which has become a successful and exciting new venture.
Cameron has served on many boards, including: Midland Children’s Rehabilitation Clinic, Make-A-Wish, Milagros, the Capital Campaigns of Trinity School and West Texas Food Bank. She was recently elected as a new Board of Trustee member for Trinity School. She has helped organize successful events for the American Cancer Society, Centers for Children and Families, and Hillcrest School. She is also involved with the I-20 Wildlife Preserve, COM, Midland Memorial Hospital, West Texas Boys Ranch, a number of different animal shelters, and raises awareness for Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She was an After School Kids Community Bible Study leader for three years and is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Midland.
Cameron married Winston Kelly in 2014 and is dedicated to her faith, family, friends and the Trinity School Mission. She continues to be very involved in Trinity School, and is representing the Alumni Association by serving on the inaugural Trinity School Gala event committee. She is grateful of everything that Trinity has helped her become and is thrilled to be a part of the future.
