Raylee Starnes '12

Raylee Starnes '12 went to Texas Christian University for undergrad where she attained a BS in Psychology and then went on to SMU for law school where she received her J.D. Raylee is currently an attorney working for Ferguson Braswell Fraser Kubasta as a litigation associate.

I appreciate my time at Trinity because of the way it prepared me for all future schooling, instilling an excellent work ethic and ability to thrive in challenging scholastic environments. More than that I appreciate the diversity of my education and the quality of my teachers as well as my classmates. Trinity granted me a built-in network of talented, qualified individuals and I am so grateful for my 11 years spent there.

Trinity School taught me that you can excel in the classroom and still find time to enjoy the fun things in life. While playing sports year-around, I also had to keep up with Trinity School's rigorous curriculum. This skill of balancing work and play paid dividends in my later academic career and will continue to do so in my professional career. Thank you, Trinity School, for teaching me at a young age not to get too busy making a living that you forget to make a living.

Alumni included a Director of Physician Relations & Outreach for Women’s Services, a Security Research Engineer, a VP of Finance and BD for local Midland oil company, and more. “I'm most grateful for my experience at Trinity, the multitude and range of opportunities I had, as well as the support I received from school leaders and peers. During my time at Trinity I learned that I loved running, a computer science-related degree was what I wanted to delve into in college, and throwing ceramics was something I really enjoyed. Additionally, I felt empowered to explore and participate in these new ventures. Lauren (Wagner) Kannady '13 Visits Trinity for a Book Signing

Lauren Wagner Kannady (Class of 2013), visited Trinity during the School Book Fair. Lauren and her aunt recently published the children's book Pancho in Cabo, and held a book signing on campus. The book was read in Lower School Chapel (for K5-4th grade students), and they will spoke with Upper School Creative Writing and Visual Arts students about the process of publishing a children's book.

Sammy Hajar `12

Sammy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in 2016, and was an ICU nurse for 2 years. Recently, he changed fields and is now a Regulatory Analyst working for BTA, an independent oil company in Midland.
"Being a lifer, I am grateful for my whole time at Trinity and all the experiences I had there. However, I am most grateful for the education I received, and the way in which I received it. Trinity not only taught me academically, but the environment and culture of the School paired with the people, taught me life lessons which helped me grow into a well-rounded adult.”

Hutton earned a BA in History, Art History, and Classics from the University of Tulsa and a MLitt certification in Fine and Decorative Arts from the Renaissance to Modern at Christie’s Auction House Masters Program in London. She is currently in fine art sales at Sotheby's, New York. “As someone who has always had an appreciation for the humanities, Trinity offered a rigorous curriculum that challenged me and instilled good habits in both academia and in life. The beauty of Trinity lies in the genuine interest of its faculty to foster intellectual curiosity and a desire for excellence among its students.”

Jessoung is the co-founder of Iron Oak CrossFitt. He has a B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin. He has been a corporate sales representative for Wellsite Fishing and Rentals and is a co-founder of Iron Oak CrossFit. “I would not be the man I am today without the experiences I was afforded at Trinity. My biggest joy is helping people, watching them grow, and then seeing them help others. In 2017, our CrossFit gym was awarded ‘Best CrossFit Gym in Houston’.”

Miriam Rose Shayeb '15 Ms. Shayeb attends Rice and will graduate with a double major in English and Spanish; her minor is in Medical Humanities. Shayeb has been accepted to Texas Tech Medical School.
