Welcome to Trinity School
We hope you find the information below helpful as your family prepares for the start of school in August. We know joining a new school community can be an exciting and overwhelming experience. If you have any questions, please know members of our Leadership Team are available to help you. We are eager to welcome you on the first day of school!
Founded in 1958, Trinity School continues a more than sixty year tradition of excellence in education. Experience the difference that a complete program in academics, the arts, athletics, and faith and service can make in preschool, elementary school, middle school, and upper school. Trinity’s rigorous academic curriculum combines high standards of scholarship with a commitment to inspire children of all ages to reach their full potential. What is myTrinity?
The myTrinity resource board provides everything from handbooks to calendars all in one place.
Parents and students can access class schedules, grades and their teacher pages.
myTrinity is also where permission, acknowledgement, emergency contact, and profile update forms for students and families are available. Watch for communication during the summer notifying you that these forms are ready for you to complete. -

How Does Trinity School Communicate with Parents?
Our primary methods of communicating with parents are through our weekly newsletter, The Charger, and email updates.
Each Friday, the School sends a weekly newsletter, The Charger, that includes important updates, announcements and campus activities for the weeks ahead.
All parents are automatically included in our email distribution lists. If you are not receiving messages, please contact Dawn Jones at djones@trinitymidland.org. -
When Are Parent-Teacher Conferences?
Parent-Teacher conference days are built into the school calendar twice per year.
Parents and teachers may request additional conferences on an as needed basis. -
How Can I Get Involved As A Parent?
The Trinity Charger Alliance (TCA) is the School's parent association. As a parent, you are automatically a member of TCA and invited to attend meetings and join committees. For more information, visit the TCA website. You can also access the TCA website by logging into myTrinity. -
How Can We Support The School?
The tradition of fundraising in independent schools is necessary and important. We are a 501C3 non-profit organization, and the additional funds we raise through the Advancement Office support our mission and advance our school.
The Annual Fund: This initiative is the most important fundraising effort of the year. When you give to the Annual Fund, you are investing in the teachers, coaches, facilities, technology, athletes, and visual and performing arts of our beloved school. We are proud that our faculty, staff, and board of directors participate 100% to this initiative.
Trinity Giving Day is the 2nd Tuesday of October each year, and we invite all families to consider donating to the Annual Fund on this day.
Trinity Charger Alliance (TCA) Gala: The Trinity School Gala is the biggest event of the year for the TCA. This large fundraiser allows the TCA to continue to provide gifts that benefit the entire school.

How Does Arrival and Dismissal Work?
Our carpool line is designed for ease of access when dropping students off and picking them up. We kindly ask that all cars exiting the parking lot make right turns only during carpool hours.

What Does The School Dining Program Look Like?
Trinity School provides lunches in house.
An all-inclusive meal plan is accounted for in tuition for students Kindergarten through Grade 10.
Beginning in Grade 11, students are allowed to leave campus for lunch. -
Does The School Offer Extended Care?
Yes. The Rhonda G. Durham Children's Enrichment Center (CEC) was established to meet the needs of Trinity School's Preschool and Lower School students who require services that extend beyond regular school hours. It is open until 5:30 p.m. on Trinity School days. The CEC is a state-licensed facility and follows State of Texas standards.

What Does It Mean To Be An Episcopal School?
Although Trinity was founded by the Episcopal Church, it is now an independent school with no governing ties to the church. While we keep our Christian roots through our daily chapel program, our curriculum is independent from religious oversight. -
What Athletics Offerings Are Available?
Trinity School offers the following sports for students in 7th through 12th grades:

Where Can I order Uniforms?
Trinity School is currently exploring new uniform providers. All uniform items, with the exception of plaid pieces, can be purchased from Lands' End.
There is a used uniform closet on campus with gently worn items that are available for purchase through the Trinity Charger Alliance parent association. -
School Supplies
School supplies are included in tuition for PreK-3 through Grade 8. Upper School teachers will let their students know what they need during the first day of school. We suggest a notebook, binder with paper, or a spiral, and a pen/pencil to get started. -
Bring Your Own Device Details
Chromebooks are provided for students in Kindergarten-Grade 8.
In Upper School, students are required to bring their own device. Requirements on device specifications can be found here.

Prospective Parent
I want you to know that I have visited quite a few schools in the Permian Basin area; for my husband and I, it is extremely important to provide the best education possible to our daughter and son. Trinity School was our dream school, not only for the obvious reasons, but because you have been the only person who has taken the time to truly let us know how the school works, the quality of the teachers, the skills that the kids are learning, and the safe and encouraging environment that surrounds them.
