    Middle School Coaches report to the Head Coach of his/her respective sport. Coaches are expected to perform other duties as assigned beyond those responsibilities stated below and are expected to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the school mission, values, and core competencies.  Position will start on November 3, 2025 and end on February 14, 2026. This is a part-time position, with no employee benefits.

    Responsibilities
    • The Assistant Coach is responsible for following the guidance of the Head Coach of his/her respective sport, from Middle Division to Varsity.
    • Take Ownership of your program.  Coordinate and guide the middle school program by conducting coach meetings, developing team rules, and assisting the Head Coach in the development of practices and maintaining strong communication at Middle School level.
    • Utilize effective coaching techniques, teach correct fundamental skills, demonstrate knowledge and expertise in their assigned sport and maintain a high level of competitiveness.  Be positive with their athletes. 
    • Educate parents and student athletes on the philosophy, expectations and policies of their assigned sport and insist that they maintain respect for game officials, opponents, administrators, and spectators.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to employ best instructional practices for a wide spectrum of learners.
    • Use motivation techniques and strategies that are age appropriate, and which comply with the requirements of the athletic department.
    • Implement strategies that develop both individual discipline and team discipline.
    • Provide proper supervision for all team members during practice, games, and athletic events.
    • Initiate and maintain open channels of communication with parents.
    • Assist in the operation of various sports activities and as assigned by the athletic office.
    • Attend meetings as needed with administrators, teachers, advisors, and parents.

    Required Qualifications
    • Substantial knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators in support of the mission of the school.
    • Ability to partner with parents and to communicate effectively with them.
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities.
     
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Extensive experience in coaching athletes at the high school level and beyond, with a proven track record of developing and refining athletic skills in Basketball.

    The Human Resources Director oversees all human resources functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment that supports the school's mission. Key responsibilities involve developing and implementing HR strategies, managing the entire employee lifecycle from hiring to retirement, promoting the school's culture, and partnering with leadership on critical HR initiatives and long-term goals.

    Responsibilities
    • Recruitment and retention of qualified staff.
    • Manage all aspects of Human Resources including new hire onboarding and maintaining employee records in compliance with all applicable laws and school policies.
    • Administration of employee benefits.
    • Serve as a key resource for staff, managing conflicts, providing guidance on issues, and ensuring fair and consistent policy enforcement.
    • Work with school leadership for documenting disciplinary action, improvement plans, and terminations.

    • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators.

  • Long-Term Substitute MS Science

    Middle School Science – Non-Exempt, Long-Term Substitute
    Reports to: Head of Middle School
    Temporary Assignment (approximate dates: November 10, 2025, to February 20, 2026)
     
    We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Long-Term Substitute Teacher to cover our 5th and 6th grade Science classes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a positive learning environment for students in the absence of their regular teacher. This role requires effective classroom management, lesson implementation, and the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences across various subjects and support the school in its mission.

    Job Description 2024-2025

    Maintenance Staff report to the Director of Facilities. Maintenance Staff are expected to keep the grounds of the school in top condition. This includes but is not limited to maintenance and repairs of green spaces, parking spaces, sporting grounds, classrooms, and offices. Maintenance Staff are expected to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the school mission, values, and core competencies.

    Responsibilities
    • Assist in maintaining school buildings and grounds in top condition.
    • Drive students to local and regional athletic events.
    • Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance and repair projects.
    • Move equipment and materials within and between school buildings.
    • Act as a substitute custodian when necessary.
    • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation in connection with:  
      1. electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. 
      2. exterior and interior of buildings. 
      3. school grounds.

    Required Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience in building and grounds operations.

  • Part-Time Children's Enrichment Center

    PT CEC & After School Care Staff, Children’s Enrichment Center
    Part-time, Nonexempt
    Reports to: Children’s Enrichment Center Director

    Reporting to the Children’s Enrichment Center Director, the Part-Time CEC & After School Care Staff is expected to provide a safe, enriching, and nurturing environment for students ages ranging from 2 to 10 years from approximately 11:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
     
    To ensure success in the pursuit of our mission, the After School Care Staff should display a gentle and nurturing personality and possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of children with different personalities and needs.
     
    Mission: Trinity School of Midland is a college preparatory community that provides a nurturing environment to enrich the mind, strengthen the body, enliven the soul, and inspire servant leadership.

    Responsibilities
    • Provide consistent and nurturing care.
    • Feed food as age appropriate.
    • Change diapers as needed.
    • Comfort children when upset or tired.
    • Supervise children as they play with age-appropriate toys.
    • Display a patient and calm personality coupled with a loving approach to every child.
    • Contribute positively to the behavior and social interaction of the children.
    • Work closely with other employees to ensure guidelines are adhered to.
    • Become and remain CPR and first aid certified.
    • Implement school safety and security standards for students, staff, and visitors.

    Required Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to pass background check as required by state regulations.
    • A passion for working with infants and toddlers.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high-stress situations.
     
    Physical Requirements
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodation will be made, absent hardship.
    • Standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time. Usually needed intermittently for brief and long periods of time. Frequency may vary depending on activities and location.
    • Frequent reaching and hand dexterity for handling motor skills equipment and clerical tasks (such as handwriting, handling a clipboard, index cards, or notebooks, use of the telephone, keyboard, operating office tools and machines); manipulating small and medium size objects.
    • Some squatting/kneeling may be needed for specific activities.
    • Able to lift, push and pull up to 30 pounds. Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds.

    Work Environment
    • May deal with stressful situations in the normal course of duties, including a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
    • The work environment is a standard office, classroom, gymnasium, and/or outdoor setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate, but occasionally high depending upon student population and activities. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions and/or outdoor weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and/or bodily fluids.

    Freedom to Innovate: Trinity School believes that teachers are professionals and therefore gives teachers the freedom to design their own unique approaches to guide students in learning curriculum. Teachers have a major voice in designing curriculum and do not have to “teach to the test,” as standardized tests are not used in the same ways they often are in public schools.
    Professional Development: Trinity School encourages and supports ongoing professional development of faculty and staff. The school will financially support appropriate conference and workshop attendance, as well as membership in professional organizations. Additionally, the school may provide financial support for study leading to advanced degrees or professional certification. The school also provides in-school professional development activities.
