    Reporting to the Director of Fine Arts and Division Heads, the Art Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing engaging art experiences for students, fostering creativity, skill development, and appreciation for art. The Art Teacher plans and delivers lessons, assesses student progress, manages materials, and works collaboratively with the Fine Arts faculty and Trinity School colleagues to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the school mission, values, and core competencies. The primary assignment for this position is Grade 1 through 5, though the Art Teacher may also be asked to teach an additional class to students in grades 6, 7, or 8.

    Responsibilities
    • Develop and evaluate grade level art curriculum using the School’s curriculum mapping platform.

    • Develop and utilize both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.

    Reporting to the Director of Fine Arts, the Choral and Theater Director is responsible for teaching choral and theater courses as well as selecting and organizing musical performances.
     
    The Choral and Theater Director is expected to work collaboratively with the Fine Arts faculty and Middle and Upper School colleagues to perform other duties as assigned beyond those responsibilities stated below and to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the school mission, values, and core competencies.  
     
    Mission: Trinity School of Midland is a college preparatory community that provides a nurturing environment to enrich the mind, strengthen the body, enliven the soul, and inspire servant leadership.

    Responsibilities
    • Plan, direct, and produce yearly Middle and Upper School performances including a large musical theater performance. Every third year there will be an all-school performance (3rd grade through US) instead of the US and MS performances.
    • Plan, direct, and produce Choral performances for Lessons and Carols, baccalaureate, and graduation.
    • Developing and evaluating grade level choral and theater curriculum using the school’s curriculum mapping platform.
    • Plan and provide instruction as it relates to music theory and skills.

    The Middle School Instructional Aide reports to the Head of Middle School. The Middle School Instructional Aide is expected to perform other duties as assigned beyond the responsibilities stated below and to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the School's mission, values, and core competencies. This position begins in August 2025.

    To ensure success in pursuing the School’s mission, the Instructional Aide should possess a deep commitment to and a passion for helping students and teachers. The Instructional Aide supports classroom teachers and students in grades 7 and 8 by providing academic assistance, classroom supervision, and individual or small group instruction. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with faculty and staff to create a supportive, inclusive, and academically enriching environment that meets the developmental needs of middle school learners.

    Upper School Head Coaches report to the Athletic Director. Coaches are expected to perform other duties as assigned beyond those responsibilities stated below and are expected to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the school mission, values, and core competencies.

    Responsibilities
    • The Head Coach is responsible for the guidance of the program of his/her respective sport, from Middle Division to Varsity.
    • Take Ownership of your program.  Coordinate and guide all levels of the program by conducting coach meetings, developing team rules, and assisting other coaches in the development of practices and maintaining strong communication at each level.
    • Utilize effective coaching techniques, teach correct fundamental skills, demonstrate knowledge and expertise in their assigned sport and maintain a high level of competitiveness.  Be positive with their athletes. 
    • Educate parents and student athletes on the philosophy, expectations and policies of their assigned sport and insist that they maintain respect for game officials, opponents, administrators, and spectators.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to employ best instructional practices for a wide spectrum of learners.
    • Use motivation techniques and strategies that are age appropriate, and which comply with the requirements of the athletic department.
    • Implement strategies that develop both individual discipline and team discipline.
    • Provide proper supervision for all team members during practice, games, and athletic events.
    • Initiate and maintain open channels of communication with parents.

    Reporting to the Head of Upper School, the Upper Spanish Teacher will teach self-motivated, hard-working students in the Trinity School Upper School in a variety of levels and sections of Spanish, from Introductory Spanish (level I) through Upper Levels. This position begins in August 2025.
     
    To ensure success in the pursuit of the School’s mission, the Spanish Teacher should possess a deep commitment to and a passion for teaching the five components of Spanish: listening, reading, speaking, writing, and culture; therefore, an enthusiasm for and knowledge of Spanish language and literature are requirements for favorable consideration. The candidate should possess leadership qualities that serve to inspire, motivate, and develop students. The ideal candidate should have the ability to be flexible and caring while holding students to high expectations in academic endeavors inside and outside of the classroom.     Maintenance Staff report to the Director of Facilities. Maintenance Staff are expected to keep the grounds of the school in top condition. This includes but is not limited to maintenance and repairs of green spaces, parking spaces, sporting grounds, classrooms, and offices. Maintenance Staff are expected to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the school mission, values, and core competencies.

    Responsibilities
    • Assist in maintaining school buildings and grounds in top condition.

    • Act as a substitute custodian when necessary.
    • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation in connection with:
